Investigations into the CBD gas explosion in Lilian Ngoyi (formerly Bree) Street last month have confirmed that methane gas caused the blast. On Wednesday, Johannesburg city manager Floyd Brink said the report ruled out foul play, terrorist or illegal mining activities as possible causes.
