There's a deliberate attempt to make democratic state fail, says Mbeki

There’s no accident involved in the failure of embattled state institutions, says Thabo Mbeki.
The former president was speaking at Unisa, where he is the chancellor, about state of the country on Thursday.
He commented on state institutions such as Eskom, the police and Transnet 
Mbeki said there are greedy and corrupt people who want to ensure the state fails.
