#Marikana| government gives update on litigation progress.

Nghamula Chauke gets updates from some of the key role players in the litigation processes of the 2012 Marikana tragedy. 34 mineworkers were killed during a wage strike. Solicitor General Fhedzisani Pandelani said the government has paid over R330 million to families who sued the state up to so far. The lawyer for the Marikana victims Andries Nkome said while most of the families have been compensated, they are still pursuing a constitutional damage claim.
