Thokozile has 20 years experience within the short term insurance market, with experience in claims management, underwriting, sales, marketing and communications and drafting contracts. One of her key strengths is in business growth and nurturing development of skills in others, this strength is reflected in her transformational leadership qualities.

Thokozile was an executive manager at Sasria SOC Ltd for ten years. She is a member of the Fire Protection Association Board of Directors and is the Audit, Risk, and Compliance Board Committee Chairperson at the Fire and Protection Association.

She previously served as the head of the education portfolio at the Insurance Institute of Gauteng (IIG) before being nominated as vice-president in 2016. In 2017 she was nominated as the deputy president of the same organisation. Thokozile has a has a proven track record of successfully developing strategies that enable businesses to thrive.

She has played a significant role in developing and growing the insurance industry as Deputy President of the Insurance Institute of Gauteng. Her role as Board of Director for the Fire Protection Association has enabled her to hone her governance and leaderships skills, which augur well for her in her new role.
