The mayor of Mogalakwena Municipality Ngoako Taueatsoalo denies that the municipality is having governance issues. Speaking to Nghamula Chauke, Tauetsoalo said although the municipal assets were on the verge of being auctioned as per the High court order to settle the bill of a service provider, the municipality is still functional. The mayor said the bill has since been settled but there are internal investigations that are still underway. He also took advantage of the set up to also share the municipality's stand on the issue of Municipal Manager Morris Maluleke's appointment which the court has declared to be unlawful.
