Accused in Phala Phala $580,000 theft case make first appearance

Namibian nationals 39 year-old Imanuwela David and 30-year-old Froliana Joseph made their first court appearance at the Bela Bela magistrate's court on Tuesday in connection with the theft of $580,000 (about R10.6m) at President Cyril Ramaphosa's Phala Phala farm in February 2020. The matter has been postponed to November 10 with both accused in custody.
