11 people arrested for ‘selling fake matric certificates’, says Umalusi

The education quality assurance council Umalusi says 11 people have been arrested for allegedly selling fake matric certificates. Umalusi was briefing the media on Monday about the 2023 matric examination results.  CEO Dr Mafu Rakometsi said an official in the department of higher education was arrested for allegedly selling a matric diploma for cash.
