Breakfast Champion | Shumela Hayani give youth a chance to make a living

According to stats, Youth in South Africa continue to be disadvantaged in the labour market with an unemployment rate higher than the national average. The same struggles go to the Youth in the country, they continue to bear the burden of unemployment as South Africa is still to date deemed as the most unequal country in the world. The Shumela Hayani project is an agricultural development program that aims to create a fully self-sustainable farming operation. The project has 70% women under the age of 25 and 90% black youth with dis-Abilities learning for free and starting their own projects. Mpho Mashita and Complexion are joined by Karabo Makhuwa who is one of the learners and beneficiaries of this project.
