"Council of Ephesus"
Embark on a profound journey through church history with Rocky Stevenson Pastor of Benoni Bible Church as he delves into the year 431 AD – the Council of Ephesus. Facing the Nestorian heresy, the council affirmed the biblical understanding of Christ's nature, safeguarding the essence of the Christian faith. Discover the biblical anchor in John 1:14 and Luke 1:43, validating Mary's role as Theotokos, the Mother of God. Pastor Rocky navigates the delicate balance, avoiding Mary's deification, and urges listeners to anchor themselves in timeless biblical truths, echoing through the corridors of church history. #ChurchHistory #CouncilofEphesus #Incarnation #ChristianFaith #Theotokos #RadioPulpit
