Damelin students in Braam left in the dark over deregistration

The announcement of the closure of Educor institutions Damelin, CityVarsity, Icesa City Campus on Friday has shocked the sector and left students and parents in limbo Students at the Damelin College in Braamfontein have been left in the dark about the deregistration of Educor colleges by the higher education department. According to the department these Educor institutions had not submitted annual financial statements in 2021 or 2022 or complied with the law. TimesLIVE Premium spoke to various students at Damelin Braamfontein campus on Tuesday, with most saying they hope they will be reimbursed for the funds they have paid the institution.
