‘Only 100,000 people died during Covid-19’: Ramaphosa on campaign trail

Campaigning for his party, President Cyril Ramaphosa said only 100,000 people died of Covid-19 in SA compared to other countries. He asked the potential voters to clap hands because his party-led government that provided the R350 SD grant.
He was in the North West making efforts to lure voters for next week when South Africans head to the polls.
“Remember Covid times?” asked Ramaphosa in isiZulu, “you seem to have forgotten it. We had to shut down everything, it was a tough decision. Two-million people lost jobs.”
