The Sunday Revolution caught up with SA Artist Cara Frew to give us the 101 on dating the "Bad Boy" and her new single "Candy Coated Nightmare". You will also hear us play out the 1st time play on 919 at the end of the chat.

South African-born, SAMA Nominated & Coachella Music Festival performing artist Cara Frew releases the title-track to her long-awaited acoustic album “Candy Coloured Nightmare”. The single describes a dangerous love that pulls her in. “He’s reckless and parties, he tastes like all the mistakes that she wants to make, she can’t get him off her mind.” Cara describes.

Accompanying the song is also a brand new sultry music video released simultaneously (See link below). Crafted in SA, it’s an acoustic immersion of gritty pop vocals & elevated rhythms, all amplified by organic elements, earthy drums, and acoustic guitars, co-produced by Juan Floors Oosthuisen and Daniel Baron. Recorded and mixed at Hit Kitchen Studios, South Africa.
