A memorial service was held on Tuesday at the Oasis of Life Family Church in Daveyton for veteran actress Connie Chiume, who died aged 72 on August 6 after a short illness. Fellow Black Panther Dr John Kani reminisces on the time he and Chiume arrived in the United States to shoot Black Panther. Actor Ownen Sejake described Chiume through a poem. A funeral service will be held on August 15 at the same venue.
