The seasoned allrounder, Marizanne Kapp, is not available for the tour, and there will be a lot of focus on her understudy, Dercksen.
The former Free State cricketer Dercksen was recently named as the ICC’s Emerging Women’s Cricketer of the Year.
The coach, Mandla Mashimbyi, told OFM Sport that Dercksen is a very valuable player.
