Virgil van Dijk - On extending his contract with Liverpool

There was some more good news for Liverpool fans, with the club captain and centre-back Virgil van Dijk officially extending his stay on Merseyside.
The Dutch defender had been rumoured to be leaving Anfield at the end of the season, with his contract set to expire.
However, Van Dijk has now signed a new deal that will keep him at the club for at least another two years.
Just days ago, Mohamed Salah also penned a new contract with Liverpool.
Van Dijk said he never considered leaving the club, which is on track to win the Premiership.
