The controversy between South African podcaster MacG (Macgyver Mukwevho) and media personality Minnie Dlamini ignited in May 2022, following MacG's remarks on his podcast, Podcast and Chill. He compared Dlamini to entertainer Zodwa Wabantu, alleging both were involved in transactional relationships, stating, "There is no difference between Minnie and Zodwa Wabantu. They’re both selling p****. One owns it, one doesn't."

There has, as we know, been a more recent incident that had her femininity attacked.

Did you know that the world is "pro-mysogyny"?

Listen to this week's episode focusing on how social media platforms like TikTok push misogyny fourfold, and so inspire young boys and men, what four groups make up the manosphere; as well as a focus on Andrew Tate.

Andrew Tate has attracted millions of online followers who are drawn to his hyper-masculine and luxurious lifestyle. For some young men and boys, Tate's view of the world is one to emulate. A new study of female teachers has found Tate's ideology is spreading in Australian classrooms in the form of sexism and sexual harassment.

There are some solutions to misogyny. Coach David Brockway explains what toxic masculinity is and why phrases like ‘man up’ are so destructive.
