Sunday LIVE Session with 17 Year Old Rock Star JaeXLynne and her new single "1959"

Pretoria-East’s very own JaeXlynne is turning up the volume—and the attitude—with her new single 1959. At just 17 years old, JaeXlynne is proving that age is no barrier when it comes to making bold, unapologetic music that packs a punch. A blend of punk rock energy, grunge edge, and modern rebellion, 1959 is a defiant middle finger to outdated expectations, especially those placed on young women.

Her talent caught the eye of Los Angeles music manager and producer Manny Mijares, whose long list of previous works includes projects with many notable names, such as Dua Lipa, Kelly Rowland, Craig David, Pitbull to name a few. She may be a local talent, but she’s poised for global reach with the right team behind her.

She joins us in the studio to talk about balancing her formative years as a young woman, school, music, and stardom. She is truly UNAPOLOGETIC, and is happy to be honest about the conservative Afrikaans community, on her personal and professional brand image.
