Rassie Erasmus - Handré Pollard's selection at flyhalf for Italy

The Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus has defended his decision to select the experienced Handré Pollard at flyhalf for Saturday’s first Test against Italy in Pretoria.
Last week against the Barbarians, Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu started in the number ten jersey, with Manie Libbok coming on as a replacement.
While both delivered solid performances during the 54-7 win in wet conditions in Cape Town, Erasmus noted that the Test against Italy will be played at a much higher intensity.
Erasmus added that Pollard brings a wealth of experience, and that he plans to rotate his backline generals across the next three Test matches.
