The 20-year-old Toyota Cheetahs prop, Ben Pitout, will be making his official debut this evening during the 130th Anniversary game against Georgia in Bloemfontein.
Last week, the Shimlas front-rower got his first run in a Cheetahs jersey during the Currie Cup warm-up game against the Suzuki Griquas in Bultfontein.
Tonight, he will play off the bench and provide cover for Frankie Dos Reis, who was a year ahead of him at school at Paarl Gymnasium and also at the Shimlas.
Pitout told OFM Sport that he never imagined going professional this soon.
