Eastern Province will be seeking to make a statement on Saturday when they face the Griffons in Welkom in the semi-finals of the Currie Cup First Division.
The Elephants will head to Welkom backing themselves to reach the final after having beaten the Griffons during the SA Cup.
That said, in their last trip to face the Purple People Eaters they were beaten 66-34.
For Eastern Province this is a big opportunity, and they will be seeking to cause an upset.
The former Springbok coach, and current EP tactician, Allister Coetzee, told OFM Sport that it will be tough, but they back themselves.
