We had Hypnotherapist Anna-Mart van Wyk in the studio this week, to chat to us about the benefits and breakdown of hypnotherapy.
Anna Mart van Wyk (DipCH, Dip NeuroC) is a clinical hypnotherapist, holistic therapist, and neuro behavioural life coach. She is registered with the International Coaching Council (ICC) and the UK National Hypnotherapy Council .
She holds additional qualifications from the University of Pretoria (Neuroscience of Coaching) and the Surrey College of Clinical Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy, accredited by the National Society of Psychotherapists.
Her approach integrates modalities such as EMDR, EFT, NLP, Timeline Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, with hypnotherapy at its core.
With over 15 years of experience in training and coaching, she emphasises psycho-education, helping clients understand their triggers and the healing process to foster long-term change.
She champions the philosophy that “our current selves are products of our past,” but each moment provides an opportunity to reinvent ourselves, especially when trauma keeps us stuck in older versions of ourselves.
The Sunday Revolution with Chris Jordan 3pm - 7pm on 91.9FM
