The Soweto giants, Orlando Pirates, have appointed a new club captain ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Innocent Maela had worn the captain’s armband since 2022, until his departure at the end of last season.
The players have voted defender Nkosinathi Sibisi to take over the captaincy.
