She is currently a member of the KPMG Southern Africa Policy Board, the Head of Financial Services Audit and a Banking External Audit Partner, having signed off the audit opinions for the Standard Bank and Nedbank Bank Group audits among various other financial institutions. Joelene started her life’s journey in Pietermaritzburg where she grew up, attended university and completed her articles with KPMG. Thereafter she spent 3 years abroad with KPMG Luxembourg and London, returning to Johannesburg where she has been since.
