The Proteas seamer, Lungi Ngidi, was the star of the show with the ball in their 84-run win against Australia in Mackay during the 2nd One-Day International.
The Proteas set Australia a target of 278 runs for victory, but Ngidi led the charge with the ball, returning figures of 5/33.
Ngidi’s efforts saw the Proteas bowl Australia out for 193 runs to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series.
Ngidi said it was also about winning the mental battle.
