The KwaZulu-Natal North Coast community has united behind the Get Vocal for Opal campaign, demanding an independent veterinary assessment to determine if 45-year-old Opal can be relocated from her bleak cage at the Natal Zoological Gardens. On October 4, 2025, the community will rally together to fund the assessment and fight for Opal’s dignity, freedom, and future.
