Altron sees profit increase despite digital business slowdown

Despite headwinds in South Africa’s IT services market, Altron has delivered a strong set of interim results growing operating profit by 15% to R549 million and rewarding shareholders with a 20% increase in its interim dividend.

The technology group’s Platforms segment led the charge, with headline earnings per share up 22%, even as group revenue slipped slightly to R4.8 billion.
