#SeshegoWater| Executive Mayor assures residents that Seshego water is safe to drink

Executive Mayor of Polokwane Municipality John Mpe has spoken to Nghamula Chauke about the decommissioned Seshego borehole which was found to have high turbidity. The municipality has since appointed an independent private laboratory to conduct tests, prompted by allegations of water contamination and reported cases of diarrhoea. Mpe has assured the public that water in Seshego and Polokwane is safe for consumption.He says they have resolved to install a new package water purification plant to treat the water and to ensure proper treatment before water enters the reticulation network.
