In this Wisdom Wednesday episode of Let’s Talk with Rocky Stevenson Pastor of Benoni Bible Church, we continue our series on the perfections of God by considering His transcendent majesty. Scripture confronts one of the most common misconceptions in modern Christianity—the idea that God is essentially like us, only greater in power. Drawing from Isaiah 55:8–9 and Job 36:26, this session lifts our eyes to the infinite otherness of God: exalted beyond creation, beyond human comprehension, and beyond comparison. Through passages from Isaiah, Job, the Psalms, and the Gospels, we see that God is not a super-sized human, but the eternal, unchanging, and incomprehensible Lord of all. Yet in His grace, this transcendent God stoops to reveal Himself and to dwell among His people.
