“The Ripple” Launches on 88FM to Spotlight Local Acts of Good
A new weekly radio segment, The Ripple, will officially launch on 88FM this Monday at 7:30am during the Morning Show with Mike and Penny.
Created to shine a light on the good happening around us, The Ripple offers listeners a hopeful and constructive start to the week.
Across our communities, individuals and organisations, big and small, are quietly doing their part to uplift others. From neighbours helping neighbours to volunteers, businesses and community groups driving positive change, meaningful acts of good often happen without recognition.
Good does not always chase a headline.
The Ripple was created to give it a space.
The segment is built on a simple belief: when good is shared, it can be felt. And when it is felt, it can inspire others. Sometimes inspiration begins with something small - one story, one act, one ripple at a time.
Listeners are encouraged to participate by submitting stories of individuals or organisations making a difference.
If you know someone doing their bit to uplift our community, The Ripple would like to hear from you.
Submissions can be made via: Newsroom.88fm@proton.me

The Ripple airs live every Monday at 7:30am on 88FM with Mike and Penny and will also be released as a podcast, with highlights shared across social media platforms.
