Frans Steyn - Faf de Klerk signing and value he will add

Toyota Cheetahs head coach Frans Steyn has welcomed the signing and pending arrive of the two-time Rugby World Cup winning Springbok, Faf de Klerk, ahead of the Currie Cup.
Steyn, who shared the field with De Klerk during their time in the Springbok setup, including the triumphant 2019 Rugby World Cup campaign in Japan, is clearly excited about what the seasoned scrumhalf will bring to Bloemfontein. While the union officially confirmed the deal on 12 April, De Klerk had in fact already put pen to paper back in February.
Steyn told OFM Sport that he believes the Bok scrumhalf will have a similar impact to that of Ruan Pienaar when he joined the Cheetahs in 2019 - not just in terms of on-field control, but in lifting standards across the board.
