Gill nets. Snares. Dog hunting packs. The illegal removal of marine life. It is happening right here, on our coastline, quietly and consistently.
In the first three months of 2026, the Dolphin Coast Anti-Poaching Forum received 32 reports of poaching. They responded to 29 of them.
This week on The Ripple, we sit with the people standing between the poachers and the wildlife of the Dolphin Coast. Outnumbered. Unpaid. And still showing up.
