We all know the polite get-out: "Oh, I can't make it" when really, you just didn't want to go. But when did you last say a genuine, intentional no? A no that cost you something. A no that you truly meant.
Stacey opened up this conversation and listeners did not hold back, sharing honest, personal stories about people-pleasing, boundaries and the moments they finally chose themselves. Whether it was saying no to a person, a plan, a job or a relationship, the responses were raw and real.
Registered counsellor Linda Turner joined the conversation to explain why saying no is not selfish, it is necessary. If you have ever struggled to put yourself first or found yourself agreeing to things you desperately wanted to decline, this one is for you.
