It’s Youth Day and 50 years since thousands of black students peacefully marched to protest oppressive Bantu education laws and the mandatory use of Afrikaans in black schools. One looks at the youth today and wonder, would they be capable of doing something like that where they dismantle an entire system? Jones Netshipise and Mpho Molefe are in studio with Neo Mosomane and Khutjo Mmethi from PEPPS COLLEGE, as well as Mpho Nkobo, Natasha Kokotsi, Kelly Mtongerwa from Curro Meridian to talk about various issues affecting the youth like: Why the youth no longer has interest in voting; and the true effects of social media on South African youth.
