Nigel Moyo

Is a final-year Bachelor of Education student at the University of the
Witwatersrand (Wits), majoring in English and Life Orientation.
Born blind, Nigel attended schools for learners with visual impairments
throughout his basic education before enrolling at Wits in 2022. His
journey reflects resilience, determination and a passion for education.
As South Africa celebrates National Science Month, Nigel joins us to share
his experiences of navigating the education system as a blind student, the
accessibility of Mathematics and Science education, and how innovation
can be more inclusive for people living with disabilities.
