Music producer Bongani Fassie says he is unfazed by “washed up” remarks in-spite of the release of his new EP, Skomline, that took place last week Friday, May 8. In a candid sit-down interview with Sowetan, Fassie opens up about sobriety, the pressure of carrying the legacy of his late mother Brenda Fassie, and his plans to evolve into what he calls a “musical scientist” as he explores new sounds, including an upcoming AfroTech project.
