“Wisdom and Worldview”
On this Let’s Talk Pastor Rocky Stevenson of Benoni Bible Church is joined with Bill Jack from Worldview Academy in the USA, and they discuss and challenge the compartmentalisation of faith and life, arguing that many Christians operate within a secular mindset that views God as irrelevant to daily activities. By using the metaphor of a child kept in a box, the speaker illustrates how secular education can limit spiritual understanding, urging believers to recognize that worship is a holistic lifestyle rather than a weekly ceremony. The conversation emphasizes the need to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, countering cultural narratives that promote human goodness over divine truth. It concludes by identifying Jesus as the ultimate source of wisdom and encouraging believers to ground their actions and decisions in the reality of the Creator.
