Much-needed rain predicted for central SA

The South African Weather Service has predicted showers and thundershowers over the central and eastern parts of the country over the weekend. Phemelo Zonke from the Bloemfontein Weather office says there is a 60% chance of rain for Welkom and Kroonstad in the Free State going east towards Bethlehem and the central and eastern parts of North West. She also expects a drop in temperature in the Free State, North West and the eastern part of the Northern Cape. Zonke says rain predictions are also favourable for Central South Africa next week.
