Ficksburg police investigating suspected murder/suicide

The bodies of a young couple were found in a house in Meqheleng near Ficksburg in the Free State on Tuesday evening.
Police spokesperson Phumelelo Dhlamini says 19-year-old Sheila Nelson's throat was slit, while her 21-year old boyfriend Relebohile Matla was found hanging from a rope fastened to the roof of his grandfather’s house.
Dhlamini says the motive for the killings is unknown.
