UFS protest: AfriForum Youth slams rumours about planned attack on non-whites

AfriForum Youth has slammed rumours that its members planned to attack non-white protesters at the Bloemfontein campus last night. Marika van As says their actions were misinterpreted. Members of its neighbourhood watch were present at hostels on campus assisting students to evacuate. She says especially women were terrified as protesters were occupying exits at hostels. She also lashed out against SRC president, Lindokhule Ntuli's allegations that AfriForum still believes in apartheid laws.
