People of Note - Len van Zyl

A good deal of excitement surrounds the Len Van Zyl Conductor’s Competition which reaches its climax next Sunday the 14 February with the finalists concert with the Cape Town Philharmonic. This is the third competition and Len van Zyl says he remains impressed by the standard of entrants. Len had a long and successful career as an advertising executive and since his retirement he has devoted himself to his passion for music. Len Van Zyl will be Rodney Trudgeon’s guest on People of Note this week to talk about the competition and to share some of the highlights of the competitions thus far.
