Rodney Trudgeon’s guest this week in the People of Note studio is the Dutch conductor Arjan Tien. Maestro Tien has been in Cape Town conducting 2 concerts with the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra. He is one of the more popular visiting conductors, much respected by the musicians and the audience. He is also regarded as one of the most versatile conductors of his generation and is a much respected teacher of orchestral conducting at conservatoires in Holland.
