The sparkling and much loved musical for the whole family 'Annie' has just opened at the Artscape Opera House. The spectacular Pieter Toerien Productions has just completed a successful run in Johannesburg and is in Cape Town now for the Festive season. The resident director of the show is Anton Luitingh, someone who has had a number of starring roles in big musicals including "Pharoah" in 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat', "Pontius Pilot" in 'Jesus Christ Superstar' and "The Beast" in 'Beauty and the Beast'.
