On this week’s edition of People of Note, Rodney Trudgeon will be talking to the distinguished clarinetist, MICHAEL COLLINS who is regarded as one of the most complete musicians of his generations. He was only 22 when he made his American debut at Carnegie Hall and has subsequently played with orchestras around the world as soloist and, more recently, as a conductor. He has formed close alliances with such eminent conductors as Sir Simon Ratttle, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Charles Du Toit, Carlo Maria Giulini, Neeme Jarvi among many others.
