Rodney Trudgeon’s guest on People of Note is the conductor DANIEL BOICO who is well known to Cape Town audiences and who will be conducting the first 3 concerts in the Autumn Symphony Season of the Cape Town Philharmonic.
Maestro Boico spent time as Assistant Conductor of the New York Philharmonic, sharing the podium with Ricardo Muti, and he also worked with Daniel Barenboim while he filled the post of apprentice conductor with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
