The flute is very much in the spotlight in this week’s edition of People of Note when Rodney Trudgeon will be talking to the distinguished Italian flautist RAFFAELE TREVISANI. Raffaele was hugely influenced by Sir James Galway who has said that he belongs to the best of the flautists of today for his beautiful singing tone, perfect technique and his dedication to the art of music. Many people say he has inherited Galway’s thrilling sound and technique and in fact he plays a 14 carat gold flute that belonged to James Galway.
