Rodney Trudgeon’s guest on PON this week is a dynamic young actor whose career really seems to be on a sort of trajectory. DEAN BALIE has just finished a long run as Smee in the Abrahamse/Meyer production of Peter Pan at the Canal Walk Theatre and he is also in their production of the Hotel Plays “Two by Tenn” written by Tennessee Williams on at the Vineyard Hotel and which take place in a hotel room interspersed by a magnificent meal with paired wines.
Dean Balie recently won the Fleur du Cap Theatre Award for best actor in a musical for his role as Young Kat Diamond in David Kramer and Taliep Peterson’s musical Kat And The Kings. He has also appeared in Shakespeare productions at Maynardville.
