Traffic officers on alert ahead of music festival

Bloemfontein - Traffic authorities are monitoring the N1, including all the major routes into the Free State as levellers make their way to the Women's Month music festival that will be held in Bloemfontein later today. The Department of Police, Roads and Transport’s Kabelo Moloabi says there have been no incidents reported so far. He urged motorists to abide by the rules of the road. He says a number of road safety operations, that includes road side checks, speed operations and alcohol projects will be conducted. The ‘Women of Note’ festival will be held at the University of the Free State’s (UFS) south campus.
