Rodney Trudgeon’s guest on People of Note this week is the Executive Director of The Fugard Theatre, DANIEL GALLOWAY. This iconic theatre is located within the historic Sacks Futeran building in Cape Town’s District Six and uses a renovated Congregational Church Hall as its entrance. The theatre has been the venue of a number of hugely successful productions such as The Rocky Horror Show, West side Story, Funny Girl, King Kong and Orpheus In Africa to name just a few.
Now they are staging the comedy Shakespeare in Love with an all South African cast.
