The Toyota Free State Cheetahs will be fielding their strongest possible side when they tackle the Golden Lions the Currie Cup.

The defending champions have opted to make use of the majority of the Guinness Pro14 players, however, Francois Venter, and Sergeal Petersen miss out due to injury.

The hooker, Torsten van Jaarsveld, will lead the side, while they see the return of the Springbok winger, Raymond Rhule, but he will play at fullback.

The exciting Nico Lee will run out at centre in the place of Venter.
Van Jaarsveld told OFM Sport that they will use their Pro14 experience against the Lions.

Saturday’s match at Ellis Park kicks off at 17:15.
