As her family and friends prepare to celebrate the late politician's 100th birthday, Chris Nicklin will chat to Francie about her mother's life and legacy. Helen Suzman has a special place in South African history, being generally recognised as the most effective parliamentary fighter against the National Party government's apartheid policies when it was at the heyday of its power.
A special celebration will take place at Parliament on the 7th of November, 2017.
